Library patrons are increasing their demand for Public Record data

Record Information Services' Public Records Web site for Public Libraries fills major gap in information seeking software.

Public libraries can be a one-stop-source for information with the help of Record Information Services' (RIS) suite of online public record databases. Through the library membership they already have, patrons can scroll through public records such as Foreclosures, Bankruptcies, Real Estate Transactions, and Business Lists, all online from their home computer or at the library.

How the Library Program works

The library itself subscribes to one of Record Information Services' public record packages. RIS then extends it's data to that library Web site to allow it's patrons to search public records by a variety of criteria, such as date of record, name on the record, address, and much more. Patrons can perform research and print records if desired. There are no IT demands from the library's side, because Record Information Services does the work for you and makes it easy!

How do Library Patrons use Public Record data?

Real Estate Transactions: Great for home sellers and buyers who want to compare pricing on the current market. This data is also widely used by investors and realtors.
New Business Lists: Widely used by business patrons to target businesses for new products & services.
Foreclosures: Used for investment purposes, are of interest to home buyers, and offer an insight for statistical purposes in the community's real estate market.
Bankruptcy Information: Used by business patrons who want to investigate current and potential new customers, or used to offer new loans.
