Business in the news

Posted On: July 2004

Kaneville's Record Information Services launched a Web site this week, designed to help elected officials target messages to new homeowners and businesses in their districts.

PublicOfficials.org provides new homeowner and business information from northern Illinois to state representatives, state senators and congressional district offices, as well as to candidates pursuing office and libraries and school districts.

Site users can log on and generate lists of new homeowners and businesses in their districts. PublicOfficials.org databases pinpoint areas of interest to deliver a message to residents through advanced technology of mapping and geo-coding by each respective district.

"PublicOfficials.org is a wonderful new concept for our online public records database and I am very excited about it," said Jeff Metcalf, Record Information Services president.
